Sunday drive

Kim and I went for a lovely Sunday drive out to a little town in the middle of nowhere yesterday. It was a really nice day, I had no stress of taking pictures(more on that later). We woke up late, packed up the pooches, grabbed coffee and headed out on the open road. It was a lovely little adventure.
As for my little stint as a "photographer"......well..... I am still a photographer, I love photography, documenting moments, capturing life as it happens. I went to University a 1000 years ago and majored in photography. However I am proud to be a hobby photographer. I have no ambition to start an actual business. Swoon is still my little project and I will post my images there as a separate little photography hobby blog. That is all I really have to say about that.
I am free of stress and happy to be focusing on what matter most in my life right now!!!!!

To top off my wonderful weekend I had my 1 and only diet coke since March 26th!!!!!!

I looked on my little feedjit and noticed Springfied , MO. Leigh Ann if you are readingme from down there then I am beyond touched!!!!! I have been reading you and it seems like you are having a good time....maybe missing someone special though.


For everyone else I am sorry about the personal message but it is just too cool and I will explain later if you ask me to.
I have been sick for 3 days with a nasty cold. Oh well at least I did not waste my spring break from school with a cold! I am starting to feel a little overwhelmed and busy right now:
-tri traing which Kim is refering to as just sometimes training b/c I have been so busy
-photoshoots with SWOON are booking up and editing takes 4 EVER
-School is super busy with NYC plans, Artssmarts projects, field trips and all that other jazz.
-I have a new workout partner that is an eager beaver which is great however I am feeling like I have to reschedule all the time.
-Photography class starting this month for 3 hours 2 evenings a week. Just finished a photoshop class that was 3 hours on Wednesday's.
-The most important things in al of this though is spending time with my little boy. This will most likely be the last spring I have with the guy and he is my number 1 top proirity. SO you know what if I have to break a million plans for him...... Then That is just what I will do!!!!!

Koda met his cousin/brother?

My mom lives down the street from Saquoia a red siberian husky that has the same kennel name as Koda.
Koda is Sanomeese red Dakoda and Saquoia is Sanomeese Red Saquoia.
Last night it was a senior 's reunion. They met for the first time and like typical Siberians they were interested in each other for about a minute or two then both retrated to doing whtever they were doing before.
Precious moments.
Koda is really slowing down and it is literally breaking my heart each day.

Van maybe sold?

Well Kim is outside right now trying to sell GRIMACE my ol' 1999 purple dodge caravan. I am not sure I am ready to let it go.
Kim on the other hand is ready to give it to these people so he can go out and by a truck.
My Easter break is going to be over soon and I am sad:( I love staying at home with the snoops.

I spent the afternoon dancing and singing with him.......well I danced and sang and he just stared at me with that Look that he is famous for. That look that says " Mom you are fricken crazy..... I am embarrassed for you"

I am obsessed. %100 crazy obsessed with him!

Easter weekend!

It seems like I have had a nice loooong but short break.

Friday we met up with our favourite people and one of my blog follower Dave & Laurel. They brought along Dave's cute Mom and Dad! We had a nice lunch and joked about the upcoming ACDC concert. Dave and I would rather stay home and send Kim and Laurel to relive their glory days without us.

SPEAKING OF GLORY DAYS!!!!!!!!

Saturday night was the NKOTB concert!!!!! Oh...it was soooo much fun. Before the concert 6 of us went out for diner. We had lots of laughs and maybe a little wine to get us ready for the big event!!!!! The concert was fun,fun,fun!!!!!!! Last time I saw them was 12 years old and in grade seven!!!!!!

Kim curled in a bonspeil all weekend and ended up doing really well! HIs team won $1000.

My mom and I went out for an Easter brunch at Moxie's......my kind of Easter meal......at a restaurant!!!!!!!! Those of you that know me know I HATE traditional meals. Turkey, ham, mashed potatoes, stuffing.......EWWWWWWW YUCK YUCK YUCK!!!!!!!!

Karyn and I have been taking lots of pictures and I will post a few ASAP.

Today Kim is off to work and I have the clean house all to myself and I plan on keeping it clean!!!!!

Went to the Doc today for my regular check up and talked about how my Eggs are NOT rotten and if I decide to have kids in my 30's I will be just fine. However I am NOT wanting kids right now b/c they are super annoying!!!!! Sorry friends that have kids, yours are not annoying!!!!!!Trust me I spend 5 hours a day with 25 or more!!!!!! I see what they end up like and babies do not stay babies forever!!!!! Spending the day in a grade 8 classroom is enough birth control for anyone!!!!!!
