quick post

Craft night was a success. I will post pictures later today. Kim and I and the pooches are off to the farm for the day. Oh yeah I bought a little early xmas present yesterday.....a canon elph!!!!

TODAY

Well I see I have given up on that last post completely....yeah for me. Tonight I am going over to Lauren's house for a Bead Party of some sort. I have no idea what it is, all I know is that the beads are made by women in Africa and when we purchase the beads the $ goes to them.
Speaking of Lauren she took me to a class last night at the Field House and it basically kicked my a#s!!!! It is a bootcamp class and it was really good.
The craft party is all set to go for tomorrow night. Looking forward to it. I went to Michael's last night again and I sent Kass there to buy Martha Stewart Glitter......that stuff is pricey $16 for a bottle of glitter! We are using our %50 off coupons so that is good!
I am dreaming up ways to get back to NYC and my new idea isto take my senior ARt classes there in 2010 for a field trip......would that not be incredible!!!!! I ran it by my admin today and they didn't totally shut me down and were actually kind of excited about my idea!!!!!!

Awake at 3:58

I drank a latte at 9:00 tonight and therefore I cannot sleep. I have been up for over an hour now. It is good though because I am in a creative mood and I am making stuff. I think I have come to realize that I need solitude to be creative. I feel on the spot all of the time especially because I am an "Art Teacher" I feel people have expectations and it scares me!!!! I hope I feel inspired more often........but hopefully not at this hour again!

Xmas crafts

I went to Michaels last night without supervision and sepnt a little too much money! WHat can I say there were great deals on everything. I am trying to find Xmas craft project to do with Kass. SO I will post a few options and see what she says.
p.s. Dolly was unbelivevable. I love her!!!

Friday November 14th

Sitting here cooking diner for the dogs and waiting for Kass to come and get me for Dolly Parton tonight!!! Yeah!!!
Dog's are eating Beef, rice, veggies and noodles.
Koda has been hating his veggies lately so we will see how he feels about tonight's diner! Him and Benji are turning into very strict carnivores!

Cellar Dwellar

Well, I am sitting here on the old lap tap. Can't use my new computer b/c we have a cellar dweller in our basement. Soooooo not impressed!!! The original plan was that he would stay a week or maybe 2. We are in month 2 and he is not leaving until mid-December!!!! Oh yeah and waht really picks my butt is that he did not even ASK......he is just staying. So no new mac, new art room, treadmill or Laundry!!!! I love it soo much! Oh yeah andour basement smells like hamster's... I am dead serious b/c he does not showever EVER!!!! You guy's know I am bad and not hoping in the ol' shower sometimes but her seriously does not shower EVER!!!!!
Have I mentioned that he has a 6 month old baby at home that he totally is missing out on. ANd oh yeah get this...she thought she was going to come here for a visit.....with the fricken baby!!!!!!!
My blood pressure is through the roof about this!!!!!

It is snowing!

It is Monday morning and we had our first snowfall last night. I am home from work sick today however I plan to catch up an a stack of marking!
We had a good weekend. Friday I went over to a work friend's house for some hot tubbing. Saturday we went out with Kim's friend Blake, met up with Geoff and Michelle at Original Joe's and then ended up coming back here.
That's it I am off to mark!

Olympic Rings!!!!!

A little shot of some olympic rings from August........ not sure why I didn't go for them:) I think I forgot to tell some of you that I went to this girls house in the HOOD of PAradise for this hair trial. Kim picked me up from there and was totally freaked out I had even gone in in the first place!!!!!!

Kass came over last night to look at picture I took of her two munckin's. We were all set to burn them to a disc however since I am a MAC moron I could not for the life of me burn the images to a disc on my new computer. So we went upstairs to use the laptop and discovered a bunch of photos I missed. I hope I can get her the disc soon.

It was my brother's birthday on Wednesday. Happy Birthday TY GUY if you are reading this. God.....32 I cannot believe we are both in our 30's now ........aaaahhhhh!!!!!

Other than that not much new. Koda got cuter over night, it happens everyday with that guy!

Off to work, it is FRIDAY!!!!!!!!! YEAH!!!!!!

Life

It seems my morning routine must include at least a half hour of computer time. I wake up and browse around my favorite sites. One of my favorite that I read every day is an Artist from Saskatoon that resides in Winnipeg....http://lovelife.typepad.com/my_weblog/ this girl is my inspiration. She has a wonderful attitude, great talent and what seems to be a wonderful life. I read her blog faithfully.

I am feeling guilty about this compter time though as I could be out walking dogs or maybe even at the gym. But this time is quiet and I love it.

One thing I am not loving is the fact that we have someone living inour basement right now. Which mean I cannot accesss my brand new imac, my treadmill, art room or laundry....not that I really care about the laundry. That said i am much too old for roomates and this has to come to an end......but I am too chicken to say anything!!!!!!!!
