2nd Honeymoon...if we get out of the Storm

I am off tomorrow for a week in Mexico with my Hubby. We went to NYC in August for our official honeymoon however that city isn't exactly relaxing! So I am calling this trip our second honeymoon and we are off tomorrow, although there is a big winter storm rolling in so I am a little worried we will not make it out of here! PV is a wonderful place and I am hoping Kim likes it as much as I do. My family used to vacation there when I was in high school....lots of great memories!

This Brat

Is the reason why I sleep in on my holidays....he wakes me up at 3:00 am every night just because he feels like sitting in the snow for awhile. Let me set the record straight and be sure to point out that he is an INDOOR dog and his entire life has freaked out if he was left outside. He loves being inside! My new routine is to sleep on the couch and wait for him to DEMAND back inside whenever he feels the need!
I could not love this brat more!

365

I am starting my own 365 project and I will keep up to date, enjoy and celebrate life. For those of you that do not know what a 365 project is.......well google it! I will be updating my 365 on my flickr which is now linked in the top right hand of this blog.
Kim is home from work as he is not feeling well....I hope he gets better because we leave for MEXICO on Friday!
Went to Marley & me last night....which is why I have Alien eyes today. Oh my what a tear jerker especially when I have 2 senior pooches in my life. You could hear sobbing throughout the theatre!

1. I hate mushy food with the passion.
2. I have a serious magazine addiction.
3. I am really shy but not really shy at the same time.
4. I used to call myself Big Purple of Shell Lake.
5. When i come home from work and no one is here but the dogs I totally loose it and dance around like a maniac.....it is really just a show for the pooches...they love it! If anyone caught me, they would think I am totally nuts!
6. I wish I had more energy.

Xmas

Well it is Saturday and our Christmas celebrations are finally over! My pants feel tight but we had a great first Xmas as a married couple. We hosted Kim's family here for Xmas and I think it went over rather well. My husband is amazing at cleaning and being organized which meant that things around here went smoothly. My mother in-law, sister in-law and Kim basically cooked everything and I pretty much stayed out of the kitchen which was great! Everyone knows that if Xmas diner was cooked by me it would turn into chicken and rice. I left all the mush cooking those that like mush!
Last night we went to Lydia's for what turned out to be a high school reunion. It was more fun than I had expected! Today we just laid low and went out for some good old vietnamese food and now I am going to head upstairs to join Kim on the couch.
Oh yeah and the one pic is of Kim cleaning up Koda's hair after a little xmas brushing!

Craft Night Part 2

I hosted craft night the other night and Kass, Jenn and Sarah came over for some food, wine spritzer's and crafts. We are trying to make wreath's like the one's they have in Starbucks right now. However our fun little easy project has turned into a much bigger project than we had expected. We ran out of yarn and the food, wine and conversation took over. Oh yeah and the wedding books arrived and I wanted to post how they looked. I made them online at www.blurb.com I was really happy with the results and will be creating more for sure.
Last night we hosted Christmas Eve at our place and we had a really nice time. More pictures to come on that.

80's

My friends boyfreind text me a message asking if my friend was a skid back in the day. Which really got me thinking about the 80's and my early childhood so I looked around the net and found a few gooders to share. Let me clarify I was a KID in the 80's and not a teenager! My friends boyfriend on the other hand was just a baby at the time.
