It is snowing!

It is Monday morning and we had our first snowfall last night. I am home from work sick today however I plan to catch up an a stack of marking!
We had a good weekend. Friday I went over to a work friend's house for some hot tubbing. Saturday we went out with Kim's friend Blake, met up with Geoff and Michelle at Original Joe's and then ended up coming back here.
That's it I am off to mark!

Olympic Rings!!!!!

A little shot of some olympic rings from August........ not sure why I didn't go for them:) I think I forgot to tell some of you that I went to this girls house in the HOOD of PAradise for this hair trial. Kim picked me up from there and was totally freaked out I had even gone in in the first place!!!!!!

Kass came over last night to look at picture I took of her two munckin's. We were all set to burn them to a disc however since I am a MAC moron I could not for the life of me burn the images to a disc on my new computer. So we went upstairs to use the laptop and discovered a bunch of photos I missed. I hope I can get her the disc soon.

It was my brother's birthday on Wednesday. Happy Birthday TY GUY if you are reading this. God.....32 I cannot believe we are both in our 30's now ........aaaahhhhh!!!!!

Other than that not much new. Koda got cuter over night, it happens everyday with that guy!

Off to work, it is FRIDAY!!!!!!!!! YEAH!!!!!!

Life

It seems my morning routine must include at least a half hour of computer time. I wake up and browse around my favorite sites. One of my favorite that I read every day is an Artist from Saskatoon that resides in Winnipeg....http://lovelife.typepad.com/my_weblog/ this girl is my inspiration. She has a wonderful attitude, great talent and what seems to be a wonderful life. I read her blog faithfully.

I am feeling guilty about this compter time though as I could be out walking dogs or maybe even at the gym. But this time is quiet and I love it.

One thing I am not loving is the fact that we have someone living inour basement right now. Which mean I cannot accesss my brand new imac, my treadmill, art room or laundry....not that I really care about the laundry. That said i am much too old for roomates and this has to come to an end......but I am too chicken to say anything!!!!!!!!

dremel tool and long hair

So I was filing my dog's nails with a dremel tool this past weekend and the dremel kicked up and caught a big hunk of my hair!!! In 0.2 seconds it created a massive dreadlock and proceeded to pummel my scalp. I freaked out at my wonderful husband who did not realize it hurt like hell and told him to unplug the drill. After he did that I started crying like a baby and he had to detach the bit from the drill so I could go in our room and cry like a 2year old. It took me a few minutes to get the bit out of my hair but the dreadlock was HUGE, tight, sore and crazy ugly. Meanwhile I am still bawling like a baby for no reason other than I am a big baby. My friend called over and could not believe what happened...she was about to say call me later, when I asked her to come over and help me out as my hubby thought the only solution was scissors!!!!

Needless to say, Kass came over and saved the day!!!

Moral of the story...tie your hair back when using a dremel!!!!
